Frequently Asked Questions

HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM A REGULAR GYM TRAINER?
My approach & My accessibility
My approach to movement is influenced by a unique collection of movement modalities including: dance, XC skiing, running, cycling, traditional strength training, and pilates.
My priority is educating clients on anatomically safe ways to increase stability and mobility in their body.
My accessibility is not limited to a public gym. I offer one-on-one private training sessions in the comfort of your own home gym. I also can serve as your personal trainer from a 100% online platform.
DO YOU CHARGE EXTRA FOR NUTRITIONAL GUIDANCE AND A DIET PLAN?
Yes! Of course nutrition has to be part of the "health & wellness" conversation.
However, I am not a certified nutritionist.
Thus, the nutritional guidance I offer comes from a my experiences with eating nutrient dense foods.
Any food recommendation I make to a client is simply a suggestion not a requirement.
WHAT TYPES OF HOME FITNESS EQUIPMENT DO YOU RECOMMEND?
I believe that you can be incredibly successful in working out at home. I also believe that you can get a quality workout with minimal equipment. Here are some cheap equipment you can get to start with:
1. Exercise mat
2. Glute loop band
3. Long thera band
~OPTIONAL~
4. Medium weight kettle bell ie: 20 lbs
5. Medium weight dumbbells ie: 10 lbs

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PERSONAL TRAINING and Technique Training?
The suggested amount is $5-10.
It is my heart to serve you with a workout, so if you feel free to sow into my fitness ministry I would be so appreciative.
I am also honored to serve you with a free workout if that is where you are at!
Online payments are made through my personal VENMO.
I also take CASH or CHECKS!
Personal Training Sessions aim to run the client through a tailored workout WITHOUT stopping to break down the technique of ever single movement pattern.
Technique Training is specialized time set aside to really address and improve technique in your movement modality of choice. This is great for beginners who do not know how to perform basic lifts and are looking to learn.
This is also great for the elite athlete that is trying to refine their technique to get the most out of their training.
